Can't live without the Internet? Thank your genes - JSOnline: "A new study from Germany suggests that Internet addiction is real and many of those who suffer from it share a genetic variation.

Researchers from the University of Bonn interviewed 843 people in their study and found that 132 exhibited problematic behavior in their use of the Internet. "Problematic" behavior included having all of their thoughts during the day revolve around the Internet, and feeling that their well-being was hurt if they were cut off from the Internet."
